“Bespoke detailing, clever manipulation of a small space and a good choice of materials make this terrace house renovation feel luxurious rather than budget-constrained.”

Tobias Horrocks, ArchitectureAU

Manipulating the sense of spaciousness is the epitome of the alteration addition to this inner city Victorian-era terrace duplex. Deft combination of the new elements, the courtyard, the dark-mirror-clad interior, and the tectonics, impresses a perceived spaciousness effortlessly unifying the new and the old.

"... It was a challenging project due to land size and heritage overlay but Wilson saw it as an exciting one with so much potential to explore. Wilson was extremely professional and transparent in delivering his works, ensuring that everything falls into place and guiding me throughout the whole process. He picked up the design brief pretty quickly and developed what used to be a dark and tight house into a bright, spacious home. Wilson was also very attentive during the construction process; he would respond to any issues found on site and resolve it together with the builders and kept me in the loop. The completed work really defies the notion of tight spaces thanks to his attention to detail and creative design skills..."
